Hollywood Studios

(Updated 9/1/2022)

Disney World’s Hollywood Studios is:

classic Hollywood, Disney Junior characters, Muppets, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Toy Story and other Pixar characters.

Old Hollywood is blended with a few classic Disney characters and a whole lot of Pixar and Star Wars.  The main entrance leads guests down Hollywood Boulevard and to the center of the park. From this hub area, Hollywood Studios is divided into 8 different areas that center around Grauman’s Chinese Theater. Hollywood Boulevard, Echo Lake, Grand Avenue, Commissary Lane, Toy Story Land, Animation Courtyard, Sunset Boulevard, and Star War’s Galaxy’s Edge.

HOLLYWOOD BOULEVARD | ECHO LAKE | GRAND AVENUE

COMMISSARY LANE | TOY STORY LAND

ANIMATION COURTYARD | SUNSET BOULEVARD | STAR WARS GALAXY’S EDGE

Hollywood Boulevard

This is the entrance that leads into the center of the park where the other areas branch off.   Here you can find gift shops and some dining. Grab a coffee and just take in the whole old Hollywood theming. Take a very adventurous picnic with Mickey and Minnie.

Echo Lake

Hop on a galactic bus ride. Sing with Ana and Elsa. Eat some meatloaf served up with sass. Say hello to a dinosaur. Watch Indiana Jones in action. Echo Lake is definitely an eclectic mix of stuff.

Grand Avenue

Watch a Muppet movie. Grab a beer or a pizza (or some spiced almonds). Magically walk through a threshold and onto another planet.

Commissary Lane

This is basically just a thoroughfare tucked back behind some show buildings with a couple of dining experiences and shops. You can meet a gussied up Mickey and Minnie here. Have dinner at a drive-in and take in a sci-fi movie with your burger. Eat a delicious buffalo chicken grilled cheese sandwich.

Toy Story Land

Obviously, this is themed for the Toy Story movies. Shrink down to toy size. Eat a creative pop-tart. Zip around on a slinky. Spin out of this world with some aliens. Shoot at some targets. Magically walk through another threshold and onto another planet.

Animation Courtyard

Another hodgepodge of stuff. Learn all about Walt. Dance with Disney Junior characters. Meet Darth Vader and BB-8.

Sunset Boulevard

Shopping and dining line this street, but it’s known mostly for a terrifying elevator ride. Here you can watch Belle and the Beast sing and dance. Attend a race car academy or take a very fast limo ride.

Galaxy’s Edge

Visit Black Spire Outpost on the planet of Batuu. Join the resistance or smuggle some interplanetary stuff. Drink some weirdly colored milk or have a cocktail that numbs your lips. Shop at out of this world shops. Build a light saber or a droid. Say hi to Chewie and Ray. Avoid Stormtroopers.
