Advance Dining Reservations

(Updated 10/30/2023)

Most Disney World table service locations take Advance Dining Reservations (ADR).  Dining reservations or ADR can be made 60 days in advance of your trip.

ANYONE can make Advance Dining Reservations but:

  • Guests staying at a Disney World Resort Hotel can make ALL of their dining reservations beginning at 60 days before their check in date (for up to 10 days from their arrival date)
  • Off property guests have to make their dining reservations 60 days before EACH day of their visit

Some restaurants and character meals are VERY DIFFICULT to book if you wait too long. Therefore, I highly recommend making reservations as soon as you are able. You can always change them around later if needed.

Okay. How do I make Advance Dining Reservations?

ADR are made via My Disney Experience or by phone at (407) 939-3463.

When can I make Advance Dining Reservations?

Advance Dining Reservations (ADRs) can be made as early as 60 days prior to your arrival day for a Disney resort hotel guests.  The reservations open up for the ENTIRE length of your stay between 5:45 and 6AM EST via My Disney Experience.

For guests that are not staying at a Disney resort hotel, Advanced Dining Reservations also open up 60 days prior to arrival BUT for EACH DAY of the trip.  This means that reservations open up at  5:45-6AM  60 days prior to EACH day of the trip.  ADRs can then be made each day OR  guests can wait until 60 days prior to the last day of the trip and book them all at once. Right now, ADRs can be hard to secure so we recommend making them each day as soon as they open rather than waiting to make all at once.

Do all of the restaurants take Advance Dining Reservations?

Generally, all of the Table Service locations at the resorts as well as inside the parks take advance reservations. There are also a good number of Disney Springs locations that do as well.

But, do I really need to make reservations?

I know that it seems crazy to book these meals 2 months before your vacation. However, if you know that you and your travelling party definitely want to go to certain restaurants,  it’s best to book them in advance.

Character meals, ‘Ohana, Be Our Guest, Space 220, Topolino’s Terrace and Oga’s Cantina are particularly difficult reservations to get. If you know that your party will want to enjoy those meals, go ahead and book it as soon as you can.

I strongly recommend getting reservations for ALL of the Table Service restaurants. You may get lucky and be able to walk right in, but chances are you will have a wait or may not get in at all.

While it does take extra planning to work around dinner reservations, it’s worth it when you and yours are hungry and tired. Long waits or extra wandering around to find places with shorter waits is time consuming and hanger promoting.

Can I make Advance Dining Reservations for Quick Service locations?

There are currently no Quick Service locations that offer Advance Dining Reservations. Oga’s Cantina in Hollywood Studios’ Galaxy’s Edge does take Advance Dining Reservations (and they are HIGHLY recommended) but it is more of a lounge. Although the menus have “lunch” and “dinner” listed, it is primarily drinks (adult and non-alcoholic) and a couple of snack/appetizer choices.

However, Mobile ordering is available at most Quick Service locations. Some dining locations also have Walk Up lists that you can join.

Can I cancel my Advance Dining Reservations?

*NEW POLICY ADRS can now be canceled up to 2 hours BEFORE the reservation time. If you don’t cancel your reservations before the deadline,  you will incur a penalty fee. Similarly, no-shows will be charged a penalty fee. This does not apply to special dining reservations like Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue or dessert parties. Always make sure to check the cancellation policy when you make a particular reservation.
