What is Early Theme Park Entry?

Select guests can enter any one of the Walt Disney World theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Epcot) 30 minutes before park opening.

Who is eligible for Early Theme Park Entry?

ONLY guests of Disney resort hotels and other select hotels are eligible. Check here for an up to date list of participating resorts/hotels.

So, everything is open during Early Theme Park Entry, right?

Okay. But is Early Theme Park Entry really worth it?

While it may not offer as much of a perk as the old Extra Magic Hour did, 30 minutes ahead of the horde could be helpful. It should allow you to ride a popular attraction without as long of a wait. If you are a morning person or you can become one during your vacation, this may work for you. IF you can get to the park and get in line around 45-60 minutes BEFORE it opens for Early Theme Park Entry, you can take better advantage of that extra 30 minutes. Remember, guests staying at nearly 50 resorts have this perk so getting to the front of the early entry line is ideal.
