Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue
We try to do something a little different every time we visit Disney World. Thought I’d start sharing some of those things here with brief “good for” reviews. Not a deep dive. Just enough information to help you to decide if it’s something your group might be interested in and how it could fit into your Disney World vacation. Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is a dinner show in Pioneer Hall at the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds, a Disney resort location with cabins and campsites in the Magic Kingdom area near Wilderness Lodge. Dinner is served family style (all you care to eat): bbq ribs, fried chicken, cornbread, baked beans, slaw, mac and…

Is Sebastian’s Bistro at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort Worth It?
The “Magical or Tragical” series offers up my group’s opinion on some of the offerings at Disney World. Pros and Cons, Dustless Pixie-style. 9/6/2022 Update: Since this review was posted, Sebastian’s has switched to a family-style prix fixe menu with some a la carte additions. While it is still one of the best dining values on property, we preferred the original menu and the choices it offered. Most of the food is from that menu but not all of the entrees or desserts. That being said, it is ALL delicious and at a great price point. We’re not discouraging anyone from going there by any means. It’s easy to get…

Is Garden Grill’s Character Breakfast Worth It?
The “Magical or Tragical” series offers up my group’s opinion on some of the offerings at Disney World. Pros and Cons, Dustless Pixie-style. Unlike Epcot’s World Showcase area, Future World doesn’t have as many tasty places to have a sit down meal. There are only two Table Service restaurants in Epcot‘s Future World. (A new space themed restaurant is slated to open next to “Mission Space” which will bring the total to three). With the “Electric Umbrella” closing soon, Quick Service dining, with ample seating, is dwindling down to just “Sunshine Seasons”. The remainder of dining locations are just a handful of snack carts. Recently, we found ourselves planning an…

Disney Snacks
I stumbled upon a great group of bloggers on Instagram who hatched an interesting plan. Each month, the group picks a topic and everyone writes a blog post with their own take on a Disney subject. The great part is that everyone links to the next blogger’s post at the end of theirs. It’s a great way to spread the word about Disney bloggers. If I’m not park hopping at the moment, blog hopping seems like a fine idea. Welcome to the Disney Friends Blog Hop #4: Disney Snacks! One of the main components to my trips to Disney World is food. I love the parks, the resorts, and the entertainment.…

Is Dinner at ‘Ohana Worth It?
The “Magical or Tragical” series offers up my group’s opinion on some of the offerings at Disney World. Pros and Cons, Dustless Pixie-style. ‘Ohana is arguably one of the most popular restaurants and sought after Advance Dining Reservations at Disney World. Folks talk A LOT about ‘Ohana and the difficulty of getting an ADR there. We have been successful at snagging one for a party of 3 as soon as the 180 day reservation window opens. However, trying to adjust a reservation just a few days after making it demonstrates how quickly it books up. Just because something is popular though, doesn’t mean that it deserves the hype. Is dinner…
