About
I took my first trip to Disney World when it was shiny and new in 1975. That was back when Magic Kingdom WAS Disney World. I didn’t return until several decades later, as an adult and mother. It was a little bit different than I remembered it.
Sadly, I didn’t grow up going to Disney World, but I’m making up for lost time! I’m an annual passholder now and go multiple times a year. I haven’t stayed at every resort (but most of them) or dined at every restaurant (but ALOT of them). I haven’t been on every ride, seen every show, or walked every VIP tour. BUT, I have many well-planned visits under my belt. Disney ain’t cheap folks. I am always determined to get the most out of every trip.
I’ve stayed at value, moderate and deluxe resorts. I’ve gone to holiday parties, on special tours, and attended dessert parties. I’ve eaten at too many resort and park quick service and table service restaurants to count. I’ve gone on family trips with a tween and a teenager. I’ve gone on adults-only sister trips.
I know, from experience, that wading through park planning strategies is exhausting. Honestly? I’m still learning and trying new things on every trip. What helps is understanding how Disney World works, first. The basics are key before you can strategize for a trip.
I was the LAST person on earth likely to become addicted to Disney World, but here I am. If I can help a few people out along the way, maybe my ongoing obsession isn’t so terribly crazy.
I am not full of pixie dust by nature, but I’m learning how to mine it. Sometimes magic need a little help.
